Nature’s Inspiration

Wellbeing in nature online sessions

These are temporarily paused whilst I’m busy with other things – however please feel free to call and chat for more info

Join one of these online wellbeing in nature sessions to enjoy the benefits that nature connection brings us. Connection to nature relaxes and restores us, boosting wellbeing and improving our resilience, mood and feelings.

Each week we look at what we love about nature, share what inspires us and take a short guided video walk, connecting to the season, wildlife and natural events.

During these sessions we engage with the 5 pathways to nature connectedness – contact with the senses, noticing the emotions nature brings, noticing nature’s beauty, the meaning nature brings us and our compassion for nature.

There’s an invitation to some nature-based mindfulness, just spending a little time being present in our senses. This which is shown to have a strong and lasting beneficial effect in activating our connectedness.

More info

Research shows that digital nature can be very beneficial because it allows people that may not have easy access to the outdoors to access the benefits of nature.

In my experience of delivering online nature wellbeing sessions, I have seen the benefits gained by participants. Alongside the broader benefits from accessing nature through these sessions, feedback showed that a direct connection with a nature facilitator gave a stronger, more “felt” connection, leading to increased benefits.

Participants expressed benefits such as “…it has woken my senses…” “…I feel more in touch with my grandchildren…” “…when my daughter stops to look at the flowers now I stop with her…”.
